DT Sparkles Christmas Ch#20 Sparkle and Bling

Morning everyone, gosh what a dull, grey day it is today in East Yorkshire.  The children and I are experimenting today with flavourings and having a bit of a muffin bake fest, with the oven being on a fair bit that should keep us lovely and warm.

It's the first of September today which means its time for another challenge at Sparkles Christmas.  This month we want to see......

Sparkle and Bling

which means glitter, jewels, charms, etc.

I've used this little darling called "Snowman Cheer" from Di's Digi Downloads and gone a bit OTT with the pink lol.......

The papers are from an old DCWV pad, sentiment by Craftwork Cards and I've used my new snowflake corner die from Memory Box.

Christmas is creeping upon us now and it won't be long before the shops reflect this.  I've hardly done any cards so far this year and so I'm faaaar behind with my Christmas makes.  I'd really like to create a scrapbook for my brother of some of the time he's spent with our family - we only got back in touch together December 2011 - after an ELEVEN year gap (long story lol).  I really need to pull my finger out.

No Red or Pink Valentine

Hiya everyone.  We got glorious sunshine here in East Yorkshire, blumming windy though - and freeeeeezing out!!  I'm itching to get in the garden with Pete and start clearing stuff, but as I'm recovering from a chest infection I'd best stay indoors!  I must be feeling much better today, my usual impatience is coming back pmsl.   Am still car less at the mo which is driving me nuts!!  Once we have a new car, I'm hoping we can still work on building me a craft room in the garden, my own little crafty hideaway - so I think you'll understand my impatience hahahaha.

Today I have a card to show you for Fussy and Fancy.  It's the second week of our fortnightly challenge and with Valentine's Day fast approaching, love is well and truly in the air in blogland.

We thought it would be fun however to mix things up a bit - no girly pink or reds for us, oohhh nooooo.  Those colours are BANISHED rofl.  We want to see your..

Valentines creations - but with NO red or pink!!!!

As it was for Valentines I really wanted to add flowers but, try as I might, I still couldn't bring myself to put any on lol.  I'm going to try I thing to use more flowers on me cards like the one's you see with loadsa flowers on and looking beautiful! - belated New Years crafty resolutions rofl.
