There are some absolute crackers coming out of Whimsy at the moment and I just could not settle on one favourite - so I done three by different artists - naughty or what!!! Don't worry - decided not to put them all here lol!
For the blog hop release I finally settled on "Mr Fancy Cat" by Meljen's Designs and available exclusively at Whimsy.
It's my dad's birthday next week and I'm sure he'll love this card. Papers are by Basic Grey, as is the swirly rub on in the corner. I used my lappy for the sentiment with nestie for matting. I coloured with copics and added a touch of glamour dust. The bow and shiny gold pearls are from my stash. The buttons are those old fashioned type with a shank attachment which I cut off using my jewellry tools. I was going to use some clear 3D glossy accents on his monacle but remembered I had clear dew drops - I love the effect it gives here.
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Meljen's Designs - Sketch
Stamp with Fun - Card for a Boy/Man
Creative Inspirations - Animals
Fab n Funky - Buttons and Bows
Allsorts - Dressing Up
If you want to see my other two cards using new releases then click HERE, otherwise
