Morning everyone.  Ooooh glorious sunshine today in East Yorkshire!!  I am sooo getting out in that garden today!!  We have a new challenge for you over at Sparkles Christmas - whoo hooo!

April Showers

Hi everyone, hope you're all well.  I have a weeks annual leave now and was looking forward to walking the dogs and getting new addition Misty, the four year old ex breeding bitch, neutered on Monday!!!  Guess what - yep, she came into season TODAY!!  So no dog walking for her and as Harley isn't neutered I'm going to be keeping them apart.  I've been assured, as her op now can't go ahead next week, that if Harley causes problems as a result of her season and I struggle to keep them apart, then the kennels will take her back temporarily until her season is over.  I am a bit miffed as I told them Harley was an entire male dog and was assured Misty would NOT come into season yet!!!  Watch this space!!!

I have another card today.  I luvs this image and am rapidly developing a bit of a soft spot for Sassy Cheryl images.

Umbrella, (ella, ella)

Hi everyone.  Another card for you today with an image I've just been longing to play with for a while now and just not got round to it til now.

Initially intended to enter this into last weeks challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's using the sketch but unfortunately I wasn't organised enough and missed the date - booo hoooo.  Luckily, this weeks challenge there, is,...... Anything Goes - yaaaayyyyyyyyy.

The sentiment is a clear stamp which I inked with blue StaZon.  I admit the middle part of the sentiment looks a little pale and maybe even a little smudgy - OBVIOUSLY that was a deliberate design feature as if it had been sat in a puddle, adding to the charm of the card, lmao.   Craftings turned me into Pinocchio rofl.

Time for Cake?

Evening everyone.  Hope you all enjoyed the weekend.  I enjoyed a lovely walk with Harley Dog, until the little monster went charging in and out of ditches getting himself as filthy as he could - tut tut.  I thought it would tire him out but on our return he only wanted a game of footie!!  I swear that dog thinks he's Pele!!

I have another card to share with you using a cracking image from Saturated Canary.

This is a bit busy I reckon with all the pattened paper and colours so I've kept the embellies to a minimum with just a couple of card candy.

Given the photo image I thought I'd also share the cupcakes I made over the Easter weekend.  I meant to blog them then but forgot so now is as good a time as any.....

They were a basic chocolate sponge with vanilla icing and lickle Easter eggs.  They were very scrummy but did not do my slimming any good.  I have yet to find a light and fluffy cupcake recipe using sweetener as opposed to sugar!

Need a Laugh?

Hi again, this is my second post today, I must be on a roll!!!!

I've been playing in my craft room with various stamps and came across this one I simply HAD to use!!  It was gifted to me by my Sister in Law Jo, aka Crafting Joanne, who has sadly stopped papercrafting and turned her creative skills to jewelry making (and very impressive she is at it too!!).  Please check out her new web site HERE for some amazing pieces of all things sparkly and girly.

Girly Pastels

Morning everyone.  Bloggers been driving me CRAZY!!!!!   My blog posts have been posting correctly but any blog lists that I'm included on haven't been updating with my new posts for MONTHS!!  So everyone's thought I've stopped blogging altogether!!  

I've created lots of cards this week as I've had a weeks annual leave so plan to enter many challenges and I've been tweaking about in my settings trying to fix the problem.  Guess I'll find out with this post whether or not I've fixed the issue lol.

Hoping for Spring!

Hiya everyone.  Blumming freeeeezzzzing it is here in East Yorkshire in the UK.  Today, those strong cold winds came back with a vengence but I live in hope, this can't last forever - can it???

To keep warm I tucked myself away in my little craft space and just to remind myself what spring/summer looks like, I came up with this........
