SCSC Photo Inspiration

Good morning everyone!  OMG I'm running late this morning!  Just completed my first week back at work since end of November!  Still don't feel quite right with these damn awful headaches!  Work have been trying to be supportive (apparently lol), but if what I've had is support then I'm a crash test dummy!  This morning am all congested again and my headaches increased with a vengence - again!!  Off work now anyway for a weeks annual leave so gonna chill and do some crafting - therapy for the soul I think (as if I need an excuse!)

Ayway, enough off loading and on to the challenge at Secret Crafter and its a cracker.  Set by my lovely teamie Donna, we would like you to take inspiration from this photograph........

You can use some or all of the colours in your project.  I really liked the cushions - and those flowers in particular.  The flowers I thought looked a bit more purple though the sofa more burgundy but hey - maybe I'm colour blind lol! Now, my mother this year bought me one wall calendar and THREE diaries.  Anyone else think she's trying to tell me something lol?  I now use one to keep track of any challenges I enter and to record my DT work for Secret Crafter.  However, it was originally just plain red and a tad boring so I decided to jazz it up a bit and use Donna's pic for inspiration!

I love how its turned out though Emily, my 9yr old now has her eye on it - we could be covering more books this week just to appease her lol! I cut off the original red ribbon bookmark and replaced it with the same purple one used as a frame. I had some purple mulberry paper in my stash that I've had for yonks and used this to actually cover the book.   I used a combination of colours for the flowers - purple, lilac, soft pink and green.  Glitter was applied to her wings and parts of her hair and flowers.

RECIPE

Image - Charmed Download
Colouring Medium - copics, sakura pens and watercolour pencils
Papers - Basic Grey (and mulberry paper)
Ribbon - stash
Card Candy
Glamour Dust

Thankyou for stopping by my little craft haven. Why not pop over and check out the rest of the DT creations, they've pulled out all the stops this week and produced some stunning work.  It would be fab if you could join in the fun too and don't forget - your entry would automatically give you chance to win a prize of either something from the shop or a £20 voucher in the monthly draw!

Take care everyone and have a great weekend
