Totally Papercrafts #8 DT CARD

Morning everyone. We have glorious sunshine today in East Yorkshire, it's quite warm too!  Fingers crossed our camping trip could be going ahead at Easter!

Sorry I'm a little late in posting this today! Basically, I completely forgot, am still recovering from my drama yesterday with the motor and fretting a bit bout the repair costs!!  Got into the village yesterday evening and the car broke down actually on the traffic lights - at 10 to 5! We live in quite a big village with a large, major employer in the region based there - so the timing could not have been any worse and I found that particularly traumatic!!  Yes I can be a bit of a drama queen lol!  Suddenly got loads of banging and clanking and smoke coming from the engine! Scary!!  Got a mechanic coming tomorrow morning to look at it but then I expect he'll take the car for a few days at least to try and sort it!

Anyway, enough about that and onto todays Totally Papercrafts challenge, set by my good buddie and SIL Joanne.  Big thankyou to everyone who took part in Ria's challenge last week and the "Things with Wings" theme, we loved coming round all your blogs and checking out your fabulous creations.  This week Joanne  has a wonderful sketch and an optional theme of "Easter".

Here's my card.......

RECIPE

Image - Mo's Digital Pencil
Colouring Medium - Copics and Promarkers
Papers - Basic Grey
Cardstock, ribbon, brads - Stash
Flowers - Prima
Border Punch - Martha Stewart

We have a great sponsor this week too and that is Mandi, from Enchanted Occasions.   Hop over to Mandi's Blog for a peek at her gorgeous creations! Mandi is offering this fab Stampin Up Set to one winner!

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to check out the challenge here and all the fabby creations from my DT buddies, we can't wait to see what you come up with!

I'm off for a brew now then I'm gonna drown myself in craft stuff and forget about the brum brum for now lol!

Take care and happy crafting

Hugs

Sorry to hear your story about the car, i bet you were scared!!!
I made the mistake of letting my Son part exchange my car for another that I now have to ask permission to use, he even gives me a lecture on driving the darn thing, pitty he didn't think about that when he bumped and scratched my old one....he might have got more money for it when we changed it...

Love the card Mel...I adore Mo's images,I just don't colour them often enough. I really like the colour scheme and the prima flowers, never had any of those myself, must add them to my list for the NEC next week...lol

Hope you get on ok with the car and it don't cost a fortune to repair.
Have a great weekend
x
