Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge #16

What a beautiful sunny day we're having in East Yorkshire today, its really gorgeous out there.  I need to apologise to all my blogging buddies, I've been a bad blogger lately as have had a lot of stress flying about which I won't bore you with but thankfully, things seem to be settling down a bit.  Have a busy couple of days planned as going camping on Wednesday for a week so trying to get on top of housework and DT projects - todays card I did at 2am this morning!!  I don't mind really - my mojo tends to be better on a night hahahaaha.  Got to bed at 2.30am and was woken by Morrisons in the village ringing at 5am!  Murphy, my golden retriever, who has suddenly turned into Houdini  had managed to create a hole in the night through some plastic coated wire, a trellis fence and a hedge and was sitting in their warehouse enjoying tea and biscuits!!!  Picked him up in me jimjams rofl as too tired to dress just to get undressed for bed again at that time!  Got up for good at 8am and am now waiting for my dad who's staying for tea and lending us his trailer for the week.  He will also now be Murphy proofing the fence til Pete gets home tomorrow lol.

Now down to the fun stuff.....we have another fabulous challenge for you over at Magical Crafts and sponsored this time by our old friend Simon Says Stamp.  This fortnigthts challenge is

" M E T A L   M A D N E S S "

We would like to see metal on your projects or maybe even something made out of metal. Metallic colours and card are included. As little or as much metal as you want!!

For me this was a great opportunity to play with a new image with metal items in it from Mo's Digital Pencil and some new brads!!  The papers are Basic Grey. I'm sure my dad will love this when the kids give him it!!!

I'm experimenting a bit with papers at the moment and fluctuate between lots of them, to just the one!  Can't decide which I prefer though it is a bit more economical, there being a credit crunch and all that - as if I could stop buying any more anyway lol!

---------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow for the launch of the next set of Secret Crafter manga stamps.  There are five this time and they are sooo gorgeous - you are in for such a treat!  They will be released daily from Monday and will be available exclusively from the shop.

Thankyou so much for stopping by and for all your lovely comments, I really do appreciate them.

Have a super weekend, happy crafting.
Hugs

Ha ha... love the pic I have in my head of your 'houdini' hanging out with the warehouse guys.
Love this card - I think that with just one paper the image really pops out.

Great card Mel, I think the image is great and the brads are really unusual.

I'm glad Murphy's back home where he belongs!
