Totally Papercrafts Challenge #16

Evening everyone, I'm running late with todays post.  Have been at work for a 12hr shift today and I'm quite tired but very lucky to have three days off now - whooo hooo!!!  Peter's home this weekend so we're really looking forward to some precious family time and off course some crafting lol.

First, time for another challenge over at Totally Papercrafts, a huge thankyou to everyone who joined in last week's stitching challenge.  We are so lucky to get to visit all your lovely blogs and see all your amazing creations.

This week it's the turn of the lovely Emma to set the theme.  This week we want to see

" W E D D I N G / A N N I V E R S A R Y "

I initially did a card for this challenge but when I just had to have a play and change it when I stumbled across this..........

The template is new one by local company Jem's Designs called "Pumpkin Carriage".  Their web site www.jemsdesigns.com couldn't be found by my server when sorting this post however, it can be purchased over the telephone or instore through exclusively from Paper Roses, a local small craft store in Hull.  They are in the process of setting up a web site but enquiries/orders can be made by telephone 01482 352133.

It creates a fabulous 3D carriage which I've tried to show a bit more here.  

 

It was quite easy to make and not as faffy as I expected.

RECIPE

Pumpkin Carriage Template - by Jem's Designs (purchased at Paper Roses)

Cardstock, I used white from Hobbycraft

Mirror Card - Hobbycraft

Silver Peeloffs - stash

Lace - stash

Silver Ribbon (around window frame) - Hobbycraft

Heart Punched edge above door - Fiskars

Flowers - Stash

I used a mixture of double sided tape and a decent glue to put it all together.  Also included in the pack is a template for the perfect presentation box though I decided not to make that for the purpose of this challenge.  I do however have a work colleague getting married in July and shall be making the box by then in order to give it to her.  I'm sure she'll be quite blown away!!
