SECRET CRAFTER stamp release DAY 5

Morning everyone, I've another card for you this morning.  The fifth and final stamp in the new collection of Secret Crafter manga stamps is available to purchase from today - EXCLUSIVELY from the Secret Crafter shop.  This is a smashing little image and if you love Oriental designs like I do then you will love this one.  Let me introduce you to.....................

" S A M U R A I   B O Y "

Again I've used watercolour pencils and sansodor - I need LOADS more practice with them I reckon!!  I used them so I could try and get some shading in the hair and not lose the detail of the image - something I just cannot achieve with my black copics pen!!  Not sure I've done a good job with it and done the stamp justice though - whatcha fink?

The papers are from Far and Away Scrapbooks and is the In our Words JAPAN paper from the Whole Wide World range.  The cardstock and ribbon is from my stash.  The chinese coin is from my stash also, can't remember where I purchased it. I used a Fiskars punch along the bottom edge as it looks like a film strip and reminds me of all the kung fu films with subtitles my brother used to watch lol!  The sentiment was done on my laptop using Matisse text.

I love this image, perfect for a male card I reckon and just that little bit different too - perfect!

Don't forget to check out the inspirational cards my Design Team buddies have come up with using this stamp (here), they've done a cracking job as always.  Oh and don't forget to pop by the Secret Crafter Saturday blog tomorrow as we've another fabulous challenge waiting for you.

Thanks for stopping by and for leaving all your lovely comments, I love reading them and they are all so encouraging and positive.  If anyone could give me any tips on using my watercolours better I'd really appreciate it!
