I'm on a Roll Now lol!!!!!!

Hiya everyone - ooh it does feel good to be back.  I've another card for you today - this time my DT card for the wonderful Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and
we have a fabulous Guest DT for the month of October - KATE (DOWNRIGHTCRAFTY) has agreed to join us - great to see you Kate.

This weeks theme, chosen by the lovely Suzie is......

"D i s t r e s s i n g"

and I can honestly tell you - it most definetely was rofl. You can "distress" your creations by tearing, roughing with a tool or ink/chalk, crumpling up the paper - it's up to you.  Here's my little effort

I've had this simply gorgeous BG paper from Wendy's Secret Crafter store.  I've been saving this particular pattern to use specifically with this image.  I can't tell you how WRONG it felt to crumple it (though the pic doesn't show this well)  and I just had to keep the roughing up of the edges to a minimum - I was nearly hyperventilating rofl.

I coloured with copics and promarkers from the Secret Crafter Store along with the blue flowers .  The red flowers were found in my stash as was the sizzix die cut swirls.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges

Craft Your Passion - Crumpled Paper
Create for Fun - Use a Digi Image
Pollycraft - Anything Goes

Please check out the rest of the creations from my DT buddies and leave em some love - they really do appreciate it.  We do hope you can join us this week and can't wait to see your distressed creations - be strong - its only paper lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I'm off for a girly shop today with my daughter Emily who turned 10 on Thursday!  Boo Hoo - she growing up WAAAY to fast - not fair (sob) Hahaha

Bye for now and enjoy your weekend.

Gorgeous card, Mel... I love the colours and I can see how distressing that paper would be tough.
