Hiya everyone, sorry for the late posting. I had intended sorting this post out last night after work but due to being short staffed I ended up staying on and working the night shift too - finally got home about 8am today after working a 24hr shift. Was absolutely cream crackered and fell into bed - but not before I threw a tearful hissy fit (due to sleep deprivation I promise rofl) at blogger playing me up on the challenge post - wonder if that means I'm the drama queen on the team hahaha. Thankyou to my lovely DT buddy Emma for coming to my rescue - your a star hunny!!
Anyway I've caught up on a couple of hours sleep and want to make sure I sleep tonight so an early night for me today!!!
As you may have guessed its time for another challenge over at TPC and today its my turn to set the theme which is..........
"Bling it On"
This is a fairly open theme and could be perfect for those Christmas cards as well as birthdays and special occasions. Dazzle us with jewels, gems, pearls, glitter - anything in fact sparkly or shiny. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Here's my creation using a digi image from the Once Upon a Time collection at Charmed Cards and Crafts and available HERE.
The cardstock is from my stash and the burgundy paper is BG. After finishing the layering and colouring the digi I discovered I'd no flowers to match so - given there's a credit crunch - I improvised and had a faff around with my X Cut heart punch - putting more bling in the centre. I'm quite chuffed with the outcome and think I've found my new addiction - could be seeing a few more of these using other punches over the next few weeks!!!
