A One Off Performance!!

Evening everyone, it's been a while since I joined in over on Dotties World.  The theme this week is Valentines and I decided to have fun by trying to use a Charmed image that may not usually be one's first choice for the occassion!  Tricky - so where does a gal go for romantic inspiration? CHICK FLICKS!!  This card will also be entered into the following challenges;

Double Dutch - Be My Valentine
Roses on Paper - Pink, Brown and Cream
Creative Card Crew - Valentine's
My Time To Craft - Hearts & Kisses
Stamptacular Sunday - Love is in the Air
Stampin for the Weekend - Love is in the Air
Pile It On - To the One You Love
Dottie's World - Be My Valentine

So ladies, hankies at the ready please lol, let me introduce you to George Swayze and Dottie Grey...

You may recognize the text from the chorus of the theme tune to Dirty Dancing, go on - how many of ya started singing along lol!! I don't have any large heart die cuts so I improvised and got a free template off the net, the site is called enchantedlearning.  It's worked out quite well.  Not sure about the papers now - might be a bit too busy - kinda messy - but then love's like that sometimes eh!!

RECIPE

Image - Charmed Download
Colouring Mediums - copics and watercolour pencils.
Papers - Basic Grey

Thankyou so much for stopping by my little crazy haven!  You've have to excuse me now as I reach for me bottle of lambrini and box of choccys ROFL!!!  Oooh brings back memories lol.

A One in Seven Card

Good morning everyone.  Brrrr, we had a really heavy frost last night, it's still quite cold but we now have bright sunshine!  I feel reassured that spring is just around the corner.

I've made a card today for one of Emily's friends, whose mother is frantically preparing for her daughter's ninth birthday - party in their home.  Think she is very brave opening up the house to quite a lot of 'tweenagers' lol!

I used the sketch over at Allsorts for this.  I am not entering this in their challenge as I've already put in my entry.  They do not want links with other challenges for this one as they have a DT call out.  So, if you have time, why not take a look over there.

Cute Card Thursday - Bloomin Gorgeous
Dutch Dare - Summer in Winter
Pile it On - Enough of Winter Colours
The Pink Elephant - Your Favourite TPE Challege (mine is
#51 Polka Dots, a Bow & Pink)
Saturday Spotlight - Bigger is Better (Flowers - 4 on each)

This was a fabulous sketch to work with and I love this new image and girly papers, which are quite summery too.  There flowers are each made up of four which is a bit OTT for me, so hope that satisfies all the briefs!
