I've been busy, in between work, catching up on some challenges. This card will be entered into two challenges:

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - #32 Sketch

I've quite a few friends with young sons whose birthdays are rapidly approaching! I thought the colours and image would be perfect for a little boy. My biggest problem now is which one to send it to LOL!!! PB Saturday Challenge this week would like to see cards based around a favourite song title or song lyrics. I opted for "Wild Thing", which was a hit for The Troggs in the 60's.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge 73 - "White on White"

Hiya everyone, what a lovely sunny day it here! I'm suffering today with a sore back having slipped on the stairs last night!! The purse will be suffering a bit today too as the motor is in the garage - a few banging and rattling noises and a defunct heater! Today, the challenge entry is for Penny Black Saturday. I really enjoyed this though didn't think I would, the challenge being that all papers and embellies be white! I sooo need all the embossing kits for this one (and a new die cut machine please Santa LOL!). The punched snowflakes have been covered with glamour dust and the snow on the umbrella is white flower soft.

Dottie's World "Childs Play"

Hello everyone, I've been without a laptop for almost a week as the power inlet socket went on Mr Blogger's machine. Anyway, he's home this weekend and has fixed this as well as BUYING ME A NEW MACHINE!! Happy Days!! So hopefully no more 'puter problems - yippee!!

Today's challenge is for Dottie's World and titled "Child's Play". This week they want to see a card designed with a child in mind and as usual at least one Charmed digital download is required!

I fancied doing something a bit different for this so decided on a pop up card with little pixies sat around the Christmas Tree. Glitter has been added to the wings and flower soft to the 'fur' trims on their clothing. Each end panel has been dry embossed and gold peel offs used to bling it up a bit.

ATC Swap at Charmed Craft Talk

This month I'm taking part in my first ever ATC swap and it's being hosted by Petra over on the Craft Talk forum. The theme for this one is "HOME". Now I've never really understood ATC's so this is totally new but I'm surprised how much I enjoyed doing them. I've brought my paints down from the loft and today I've even invested in some ATC pockets.

I decided to go along with what feels like home for me, the first brew at home when I've been away or had a hectic day at work, my furry children and friends/local community.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge (Week 70)

This card is for my friends daughter who turns three tomorrow. She loves bright colours and sweets, so, as I've been dying to use these papers and set of teddies, I decided to combine it with the "Buttons and Bows Challenge" over on Penny Black Saturday. Again you can create a card.....altered art..bag..notebook or scrap layout...the only RULE being that you use at least one Penny Black image or sentiment. The background paper used here is textured and glittery. I've put little blue buttons in opposite corners to create button lollipops!
